DAIVONEX is an anti-psoriasis medicine. DAIVONEX contains calcipotriol (related to Vitamin D). DAIVONEX does not contain steroids.DAIVONEX is used only on skin affected by psoriasis. Caroza ( Ranexa, Generic Ranolazine )

Ranolazine is used with other medications to treat angina (chest pain or pressure that is felt when the heart does not get enough oxygen) that is a symptom of an ongoing condition. Ranolazine is used to treat people who still experience angina even when they take other medications to treat the condition. Ranolazine may prevent episodes of angina, but it cannot be used to relieve an episode of angina that has already begun. Ranolazine is in a class of medications called anti-ischemics. The exact way that ranolazine works is not known at this time.Ranolazine comes as an extended-release (long-acting) tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken with or without food two times a day. Take ranolazine at around the same times every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take ranolazine exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Swallow the tablets whole; do not break, chew, or crush them.Your doctor will probably start you on a low dose of ranolazine and gradually increase your dose.Do not take ranolazine to treat a sudden attack of angina. Your doctor will tell you what you should do if you experience an attack of angina. Make sure that you understand these directions.Ranolazine may help to control your condition but will not cure it. Continue to take ranolazine even if you feel well. Do not stop taking ranolazine without talking to your doctor.

Atrovent Nasal Aq Aero ( Generic Ipratropium Bromide )

Atrovent Nasal Aqueous relieves the symptoms of a persistent runny nose. A runny nose is a typical symptom of the condition known as rhinitis. Rhinitis may be caused by allergies, the common cold, or other stimuli such as temperature changes or food.Atrovent Nasal Aqueous relieves a runny nose by acting directly on the mucous glands of the nose to decrease watery secretions.Atrovent Nasal Aqueous is known as an anticholinergic medicine. It belongs to one of several types of medicines used to treat the symptoms of rhinitis.How to use Atrovent NaslRead the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using this medication and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions regarding the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.Spray this medication in your nose, usually 2 sprays in each nostril 2 or 3 times a day as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Do not use ipratropium more often or for longer than prescribed.Avoid spraying in or near the eyes. If this accidentally occurs, flush your eyes with cool tap water for a few minutes. Contact of ipratropium with the eyes may cause temporary blurred vision and sensitivity to light that may last several hours. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience blurred vision or eye pain.The first time you use this medication, you must prime the bottle to make sure that the proper dose is delivered. Remove the dust cap and safety clip. Hold the bottle upright and point the tip away from your eyes. Place your thumb at the bottom of the bottle and your middle and index finger on either side of the spray tip. Press down firmly and quickly on the sprayer about 7 times until the spray appears. The device will have to be reprimed with 2 pumps if it has not been used for more than a 24 hour period. If the device is not used for more than 7 days, prime it again with 7 pumps.To use this medication, first gently blow your nose to clear the nasal passages. Tilt your head forward, close one nostril by placing a finger against the side, and gently insert the spray tip into the other nostril. Point the tip toward the back and outer side of the nostril. Squeeze the bottle to deliver the spray. Sniff deeply in through the nostril, then breathe out through your mouth. Remove the spray tip from your nose and tilt your head back for a few seconds. Deliver the second spray the same way, then repeat this procedure for the other nostril. Replace the cap and safety clip on the bottle.If the sprayer gets clogged, hold the nasal tip under warm running tap water for one minute. Dry the nasal tip, reprime, and replace the cap and safety clip.Drink a glass of water or juice after using this medication to help relieve irritated throat or bad taste in the mouth.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same times each day. Although you may feel better after the first day of use, it may take up to 2 weeks before the full benefit of this drug takes effect.

Oseltamivir is an antiviral medication that blocks the actions of influenza virus types A and B in your body. Oseltamivir is used to treat flu symptoms caused by influenza virus in patients who have had symptoms for less than 2 days. Antiflu is used for: Preventing the flu. It is also used for treating the flu in patients within 2 days of the onset of flu symptoms.

Calvasc ( Norvasc, Generic Amlodipine )

Calvasc is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure usually has no symptoms. Having your blood pressure checked on a regular basis is the only way of knowing that you have hypertension. Untreated high blood pressure can lead to serious health problems.Calvasc belongs to a group of medicines called calcium channel blockers or calcium ion antagonists. These medicines work by widening your blood vessels. This makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around the body while also increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to your heart. Calcium channel blockers do not change the amount of calcium in your blood or bones.Calvasc is also used to treat angina pectoris. This pain is due to your heart not receiving enough oxygen. It is felt as a pain or uncomfortable feeling in the chest, often spreading to the arms or neck, and sometimes to the shoulders and back. Calvasc cannot be used for the relief of a sudden attack of angina. Your doctor will have given you other medication to treat sudden attacks.

Aredia ( Generic Pamidronate )

This medication is used to treat high blood calcium levels (hypercalcemia) that may occur with cancer. Pamidronate is also used to treat a certain type of bone disease (Paget's disease) and bone problems that may occur with certain cancers (breast cancer, multiple myeloma). Pamidronate belongs to a class of drugs known as bisphosphonates. It works by reducing the amount of calcium released from your bones into your blood.How to use Pamidronate IVFollow all instructions for proper mixing and dilution with the correct IV fluids. Before using, check this product visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Do not mix this drug with solutions that contain calcium (e.g., lactated Ringer's solution). Zoton ( Prevacid, Prevpac, Generic Lansoprazole )

Lansoprazole is used to treat ulcers; gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and injury of the food pipe (esophagus); and conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Lansoprazole is used in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori, a bacteria that causes ulcers. Lansoprazole is in a class of medications called proton-pump inhibitors. It works by decreasing the amount of acid made in the stomach.Lansoprazole comes as a delayed-release (long-acting) capsule and granules to make a delayed-release solution (liquid) to take by mouth. Lansoprazole is usually taken once a day, before eating. When taken in combination with other medications to eliminate H. pylori, lansoprazole is taken twice a day (every 12 hours) or three times a day (every 8 hours) for 10 to 14 days. To help you remember to take lansoprazole, take it around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take lansoprazole exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.The capsule should be swallowed whole. If you have difficulty swallowing capsules, lansoprazole capsules can be opened, and the granules can be sprinkled on 1 tablespoon of applesauce, Ensure pudding, cottage cheese, yogurt, or strained pears and swallowed immediately. The granules should not be chewed or crushed. The capsules can also be emptied into 2 ounces of orange juice or tomato juice, mixed briefly, and swallowed immediately. Rinse the glass with some additional juice and drink immediately.For patients who have a nasogastric tube, lansoprazole capsules can be opened and the granules mixed in 40 mL of apple juice. The mixture should be injected through the nasogastric tube into the stomach. Then the tube should be flushed with some more apple juice.To use lansoprazole oral solution, empty the contents of a packet into a container containing 2 tablespoons of water. Stir well and drink immediately. If any granules remain, add more water, stir, and drink immediately. Do not use liquids or foods other than water. Do not crush or chew the granules.

Diclofenac is used to relieve pain, swelling (inflammation), and joint stiffness caused by arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. This long-acting medication is not intended to relieve sudden severe pain because it starts working slowly.How to use Diclofenac:Read the Medication Guide provided by your pharmacist before you start using diclofenac and each time you get a refill.
